The dream started in a huge church.I had never been there but it was filled with people I am familiar with. There were two exits opposite eachother in the church. There were family friends there which was weird because they aren't Christian and they've had issues with my family.Someone had sabotaged the church and I figured out that it was them because of how they all looked at me. To note,I am not Christian or religious but my family is. The dream switched to my high-school where I was exiting with my boyfriend, outside was packed with a bunch of students. As we walked I passed an ex bestfriend from primary school who I had feelings for. Then I saw my cousin drive down with a girl he was talking to.I told my boyfriend I just had to go do something and would be back in a second and that I love him.And as I got there my cousin and ex bestfriend were fighting and then we saw eachother and my cousin asked who was the guy I was talking about and I pointed at ex bestfriend. The dream switched to a school of some sort but it also looked like an apartment building. There were important people being brought up these stairs that looked like fire escape stairs. And I was running from this guy I knew but not really and he was chasing me,not closely. He was after something and I got out the building and outside I saw ex bestfriend and our old group and someone I'm currently friends with and I ran to them in emergency and told them we need to go and the guy I ran from was on the balcony and had a gun and started shooting.Everyone ran and my group ran towards the area where there were cars,I saw my dad's car and my dream car that belonged to be.There was this girl with a gun and she was shooting but the bullets were cherries. Then there was another girl with a gun shooting but those bullets were cranberries. They were still technically real bullets in the dream. She said something about how people like me shouldn't be pregnant.I got shot in my jaw near my neck and ear.I had a fake pregnancy belly on under my shirt.Anyways then ex bestfriend ran over to me and held my neck over where I was shot.i tried explaining what was going on and pointed at my belly. My boyfriend was coming down stairs behind us and saw what happened,he ran over to me and spoke to ex bestfriend and started crying and took off his shirt,ex bestfriend moved his hand so my boyfriend could hold his shirt over the wound,he yelled for ex bestfriend to get the car we need to go to the hospital, then it was just us and I told him I love him so much and I asked him to kiss me he was resistant because he was panicked but I said please and we kissed and then he lifted and said blood is coming out my mouth and then ex bestfriend arrived with my car and we got in the backseat while he drove and I looked at my boyfriend and told him I love him so much ans touched him slightly inappropriately not for long just because it's something we done. And I told him what he should tell everyone in my life.I told both of them about the belly that there's a chip he is after.and I gave it to them.We got to the hospital and I was rushed to surgery and my parents got there crying speaking to my boyfriend who was covered in blood. The dream switched to another school where there was people super late that needed notes and I was searching for a note,I don't remember everything but I died.I felt like that too in real life I couldn't move but I heard the smiths playing in the background and could open my eyes. But I was conscious and then I couldn't breathe and woke up
This dream is rich with symbolism and seems to reflect various aspects of your life, emotions, and relationships. Here are some interpretations based on the key elements present in your dream:
The Church: The church may symbolize a place of community, moral values, and familial expectations. Since you identify as non-religious but your family is, this could represent a conflict between your own beliefs and those imposed by your family. The presence of family friends who have past issues with your family might indicate feelings of betrayal or confusion regarding loyalty.
The Transition Between Settings: Moving from the church to your high school suggests a journey through significant life stages. High school represents youth, social interactions, and perhaps unresolved feelings from that time in your life, especially regarding your ex-best friend. This might symbolize navigating relationships and emotional conflicts that were not fully resolved.
Ex-Best Friend and Cousin Encounter: The presence of your ex-best friend and cousin in a conflict could indicate unresolved feelings of competition or jealousy. This scenario might represent ongoing inner turmoil about past relationships and feelings of love, indicating that you might still have lingering feelings for your ex-best friend.
Chasing Figure: The figure chasing you but not closely may symbolize anxiety or stress that you're experiencing in real life but that is not directly overwhelming you. It could represent a fear of being pursued for something you don't want, or it might symbolize a situation in your life that you find difficult to escape.
Shootings and Injuries: The theme of being shot and the unusual nature of the bullets (cherries and cranberries) suggests that the injuries may not symbolize physical harm but rather emotional scars or the feeling of vulnerability. The fake pregnancy belly could tie into feelings of pressure or expectations from life, such as societal or family pressures, particularly around relationships and future plans.
Emergency Situation and Help: The scene where your boyfriend and ex-best friend team up to help you suggests deep-seated feelings of love and protection. Your boyfriend's panic might reflect actual worries about your relationship or his feelings of inadequacy in helping you through tough times.
Emotional Conversations: The act of telling your boyfriend about your love right before a crisis indicates a significant emotional bond. It may suggest a need for connection and reassurance amid fear and danger.
Hospital and Surgery: The rush to the hospital can symbolize a desire for healing, both physically and emotionally. It indicates a need to address issues in your life that may feel overwhelming. The sight of your parents crying can represent fears about family dynamics and how they may react to the challenges you’re facing.
Dying and Consciousness: The feeling of dying and being aware of your surroundings while unable to move can be associated with feelings of being trapped in a situation or overwhelmed by responsibilities or emotions. The music (The Smiths) playing during this part of the dream could evoke specific feelings or memories for you and indicate deeper emotional pain or nostalgia.
Overall, this dream encompasses themes of conflict, vulnerability, unresolved emotions, familial obligations, and the search for healing. It may be beneficial to reflect on your current life circumstances and consider how these themes resonate with your feelings and experiences. Exploring these emotions further might lead you to understand relationships or situations in your life that are causing confusion or distress.
